The Sun Shines Here: Shining a Light on Women and Minorities in the Future of Architecture is a forward-thinking final program to the "Unseen St. Pete" program series. The program will offer appealing visions of a more equitable future, led by nationally recognized architect Rosa Sheng of San Francisco. Sheng is the designer of the iconic glass stores of Apple and the founder of Equity by Design. In addition to Sheng, local architect Lisa Wannamacher, principal at St. Petersburg's Wannamacher Jensen Architects will join in the discussion, offering insight into the question of can there be equity in architecture in Tampa Bay.

A light reception with cash bar will be held at 6pm. The program will start at 6:30pm.

This is a free event.  Registration is recommended as space can fill. If you are not a member, please consider showing your support of Preserve the 'Burg and this program series by joining!

A special thank you to our title sponsor AARP Tampa Bay. Program support made possible by a grant from the Florida Humanities Council. Thank you also to in-kind sponsors The Tampa Bay 100 and freeFall Theatre Company
