We are excited to be able to resume PTB porch parties - yes, it's past time to celebrate again! Join us in this hidden gem of a downtown neighborhood that PTB helped to become a local historic district in 2014. The evening will include a special inside viewing of Al Lang's historic and beautifully restored home, short neighborhood tours, tasty hors d'oeuvres, cash donation bar and live music featuring Vince DiMura, a well known jazz pianist and composer. A big thanks to our Lang home hosts, Rosana Lastra and Rob Castellucci.

St. Petersburg Mayor Al Lang went to California for his honeymoon and there discovered the bungalow court. Upon his return to St. Pete, Lang built Lang's Bungalow Court in 1915. It has just a dozen properties but it is indeed special. It is also unknown to most, as being a bungalow court, the homes front a pedestrian walkway rather than a vehicular street - most drive past the bungalow court's small entry way without ever noticing it!

While you will have a chance to learn about Lang's Bungalow Court, see Al Lang's home, and get an update on PTB advocacy issues, our goal for the evening is to have fun in one of the 'Burg's special and often overlooked neighborhoods!  Make your reservation NOW as space is limited and we expect the event to sell out! Thanks to Place Projects for helping sponsor this event and for supporting Preserve the 'Burg!

Note: This event will primarily be outdoors so dress appropriately!

PARKING: We have reserved the parking lot at Bridgepoint Church located at 737 3rd Ave. N. and also the small parking lot behind the St. Pete Free Clinic. There's also limited street parking along 4th Ave. N. and Dr. MLK Jr. St. N.

Please DO NOT park in the alley behind the home or at the grass lot on the corner of 4th Ave. N. & Dr. MLK Jr. St. N.
